Zoë’s next on screen appearance will be starring opposite Wesley Snipes in the upcoming action thriller ‘Game of Death’, directed by Giorgio Serafini also starring Robert Davi and Gary Daniels in supporting roles. In this action thriller Secret Ops agent Marcus (Snipes) is sent to Detroit to take out an arms dealer and the head of the hedge fund that is financing him. His CIA backup has other plans and turn on him. The mission later becomes a fight to survive. U. S. 2010 release date yet to be announced.

 

Zoë recently starred in Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut ‘Whip It’. In her role as Bloody Holly, a roller derby player Zoë starred opposite Ellen Page, Juliette Lewis and Drew Barrymore. ‘Whip It’ is the story of a small town beauty pageant misfit, who discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin. Zoë also appeared in ‘Game’, with Kyra Sedgwick and Gerard Butler, a film set in a future where humans control others using a multi-player online gaming environment.

 

Bell was nominated for best actress in a web series for Angel of Death, created for Crackle.com and Sony Pictures Entertainment’s online video network. Zoë plays the lead role, Eve, an assassin, employed by a crime family. Eve becomes haunted by her victims and seeks revenge on her employers. “Angel” written by Ed Brubaker, of comic book fame, set the standard for online web series.

 

Loyal fan Quentin Tarantino wrote the starring role in ‘Death Proof’ for Zoë in the highly anticipated double feature ‘Grindhouse’, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Zoë starred opposite Kurt Russel and Rosario Dawson as one of four woman stalked by a murderous Stuntman Mike (Russel). Death Proof is hailed as having one of the “best car chase sequences of all time” lasting an unheard of 10 minutes with Zoë on the hood.

 

Prior to becoming an acclaimed film actress Zoë was an acclaimed stunt woman with a career that lead her to work with Quentin Tarantino as Uma Thurman’s stunt double in Kill Bill Vol 1 and Vol 2. Zoë won both best stunt by a stunt woman and best fight at the Tauras World Stunt Awards for her amazing work in these two films.

 

Zoë stunt resume is nothing shy of impressive including 7 Taurus nominations and 3 wins. Bell’s career started in 1997 on the cult hit series Xena: Warrior Princess with Bell as the lead stunt double for Lucy Lawless.
